As I said in your first memo, I'd like to be a part of this team. I think it will contribute to my own edification as much as other players and I'm of the mind that you can never have too much information when drawing up strategies and plans!
Now, I know that vanillaDoe, Poppy, whoever she might actually be, wanted us to do something about a denizen on another world, but it seems like we might have the most luck if we just find her and ask her something. What I would propose, if it hasn't been done already, would be a mission to VD's planet to see if we might find any clues as to her current whereabouts.
We'll need the map of the incipisphere that others are creating for that, I think. I'm not entirely sure where it is or how to get there, myself.
it's not a bad idea. the difference i think is that weknow where the denizen she wants us to defeat is, but have no idea where she is herself. this place is huge. it might be hard to find her without some kind of special tracking skills.
Wouldn't that be something the taskforce would handle, though? At least the fighting. Were you thinking of gathering information on the denizen they're to fight before that, then?
Special tracking skills, though... hmm? Buffly and I talked about that sort of thing briefly when she was looking for the rainbow drinker. I don't know how, but there might be creatures here with magic for such a purpose. Or one of the players who are good with technology may be able to put something together.
I can ask around a bit. Focusing on something more concrete will certainly keep us busy, but I think finding vanillaDoe should be at least a side project. If we resolve that before the others, it might help answer some things more quickly.
Though the dangers are great, I am interested in undertaking any such open task.
But because it may be so dangerous - As much as it may wound my pride to confess - I would rather take the shame of caution and still be alive than be recklessly self-confident and dead.
I do not believe I can take on any of these tasks on my own.

COMMENTS TO THIS SHOULD BE IC.
or share any new info you have? it's also a good place to collaborate i think!
